Fox45 News Show Why Our Crab Cakes Are Newsworthy!
Marc from Fox 45 came by and checked out our crab cakes!
Maryland crabs, a cherished tradition, took center stage at the Maryland Seafood Festival, and Dock Street Bar and Grill, located in the heart of Annapolis, played a leading role. Fox 45 News Baltimore's visit to Dock Street, ahead of the festival, showcased why this establishment is celebrated for its legendary crab cakes.
Jeremiah, of the Maryland Seafood Festival, shared the exciting lineup of food and restaurant participants. Attendees were in for a treat with a variety of cocktails, including Deep Eddy crushes, Jameson and gingers, and more. However, what pairs better with great seafood than even more seafood? Dock Street, along with other local Annapolis restaurants, provided a staple of Maryland eating with samples of their most famous dish. Dock Street presented its famous crab cake in the smaller version of a crab ball. A mini masterpiece if you will!
The star of the visit was undoubtedly Dock Street's six-ounce crab cake, a legend in its own right. Served with whole grain mustard tartar sauce, it embodied the essence of Maryland crab cuisine.
Dock Street's reputation for crab cakes and crab balls precedes it, and this Fox 45 News feature confirmed why. The crab cakes were not only visually enticing, but also a perfect blend of jumbo lump crab meat, “no filler”, and just enough tartar and ingredients to hold it together. This left no doubt as to why Dock Street is often hailed as the best place for crab cakes in Annapolis.
